October 29 Join us for the Fright of your life! For $15 (charged to your student account) you will travel by bus to Rich’s Fright Farm in Pennsylvania (about 45 minutes from Mo’town) where a VIP tent will be waiting with pizza and snacks and a bonfire to roast marshmallows before we enter into the haunted house….
October 28 Ghost Stories in E. Moore Hall with the Dean. 7:30 p.m. in Elizabeth Moore Hall Come hear some great ghost stories and tell your own too! Refreshments will be served. It is sure to be a lot of fun! FREE!
October 29 Alcohol Safety Fair in the Mountainlair Commons from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
October 29 Inmate Presentation in the Gluck Theatre at 2:30 p.m.
November 5 Sophomore Junior Fair in the Mountainlair Commons from 1 – 5 p.m. A fall event held in the student union for sophomores and juniors where they can explore everything from studying abroad to internships, career choices, and more!
3-on-3 Basketball Tournament—Wednesday, November 11, 2009. The WVU Student Rec Center will be hosting a 3-on-3 men’s and women’s basketball tournament that begins on November 11th at 7p. There is a MANDATORY captain’s meeting on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 7p. The maximum number of participants per team is 4. Each member of the winning team will receive a $100 prize package. Register beginning October 12th at the Rec Center front desk or by downloading the attached registration form. November 14 New York City Trip! This is a first-time event for sophomores and juniors. The trip will include a show, meals and lodging. More details to be announced on the website at a later date as we finalize plans. Hope you will be able to join us!
